corpseware.exe

"corpseware.exe" is a  hacking roguelike where you play as a hacker who is trying to steal as much money as possible. You can use stolen money to buy black market tools, exploits and datamining methods to make more money or make the hacking process a lot easier. You will use real Linux commands to do this but obviously a much more simplified version.

I am a solo developer so this project is going to take a while to be completed and the main purpose of releasing these builds is so that I can get input on how it feels to play, what needs to be added, and so people can freely enjoy the experience while it is still incomplete.

Currently there are only 4 types of businesses, all randomly generated so every run is completely different. There is no save mechanism yet so be warned, your progress WILL BE LOST every run.

So, if you play the game and feel like providing feedback, please do in the comments. I would love some input on what changes should be made, possible new additions, and overall game improvement adjustments.

[AI Usage - Disclaimer] : Some of the company generation is using AI to make it feel more realistic, some of the soundtrack is also AI generated as placeholders until I can get a producer to make legit music for it. I do not condone the use of AI in videogame development, however using it for placeholder assets is not something I find offensive (especially since I am working on this alone and want to make content quicker). The full game will have no AI in it AT ALL once it is completed.
